Terms used for common foot problems:

Pronated Feet
The pronated foot is one in which the heel bone is angled inward and the arch tends to collapse. A person that has overly pronated feet is sometimes said to be "knock-kneed."

Supinated Feet
Although less common, a supinated foot is one in which the heel bone angles outward and the arch maintains a relatively high appearance. A person that has supinated feet is sometimes said to be "bow-legged" or have a "high arch."

Fallen Arches
Most people have a gap between in the inner side of the foot and the ground when they are standing. This is referred to as an "arch". Feet that have a low arch or no arch at all are referred to as "flat feet" or "fallen arches." Flat feet can cause disabling foot pain as well as knee pain, shin splints, Achilles tendonitits and plantar fasciitis.

What's different about CarbonPro Orthotics?

Some laboratory milled “custom” insoles may initially seem to help but after a few days the pain returns. These insoles are very often hard polypropelene that do not facilitate the normal function of the foot and can be very uncomfortable.
